Manchester United forward Anthony Martial will stay at the club beyond this summer according to widespread reports emanating from the British media.
There had been recent reports that the French international player could be sold this summer with Manchester United keen to rebuild their squad after a disappointing season.
According to the Daily Star, Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to keep Martial at the club for at least one season.
The former Red Devils striker has a lot of work to do to get the right players in ahead of next season and to also let the ones not needed to leave the club.
Solskjaer had a fast start at the club following his interim appointment in December as the replacement for the sacked Jose Mourinho.
He had just one defeat in 17 games in all competitions but that form has tailed off in recent weeks following the run of four games without a win in the Premier League.
The run ensured that the Red Devils will feature in the Europa League next season instead of the Champions League thus making it difficult to attract players ahead of next season.
Anthony Martial will definitely be at the club alongside the new players next season having signed a new deal in January.
His form has suffered a great deal since signing that new contract at Manchester United.
