West London outfit Chelsea manager as confessed to being having regret over his decision to play France international N’Golo Kante in the Watford game which ended in a 3-0 win.

The former Leicester City powerhouse had only 11 minutes of action before he was taken out of the game due to a hamstring injury he sustained in the game.

Although, the Blues team have been able to secure a top-four finish ahead of Arsenal and Man United there are regret that they will be without their star player for the next two games of the season.

Confirming the injury, Maurizio Sarri stated that he is aware that N’Golo Kante needed rest but he gambled the decision to have him play and that remains a major blow especially as they hope to secure qualification to the finals of the Europa League.

The Italian boss, therefore, stated that they will do all in their power to get N’Golo Kante ready for the finals of the Europa League should they secure qualification in the second leg.

The West London outfit had played a 1-1 draw against German Bundesliga outfit Frankfurt and will hope that they are able to seal the qualification in the second leg that would be played at the Stamford Bridge.
