Fallen Premier League giants Manchester United need wholesale changes from top to bottom according to one of their former players.

Ex-Manchester United right-back Gary Neville believes that the club has a lot of work to do if they are to get back amongst the top teams in European football.

The Manchester United legend also ripped into the present set of players at the club describing them as average players.

Gary Neville painfully talked about his former club during his punditry work with Sky Sports.

The former Three Lions of England also said that it has not been fun watching his boyhood club these days.

Manchester United have been poor in every week under manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and that has ultimately cost them the chance to return to the Champions League next season.

The Red Devils are winless in their last four games and they have picked up just two points.

Manchester United suffered one of their lowest points this season when they were forced to a 1-1 draw at bottom club Huddersfield Town in their penultimate Premier League clash on Sunday.

The result ensured that Manchester United will play in the Europa League next season and not the Champions League.

Manchester United don’t have anything to play for ahead of their last league game of the season against already relegated Cardiff City.
