Celta Vigo striker Maxi Gomez has reacted to claims of being linked with a move to the English Premier League outfit Liverpool ahead of the coming summer transfer window.
The Reds are reported to be monitoring the star player and it is claimed that they are ready to hand him the opportunity to play in the English Premier League in the coming season.
Suggestions that the major deal by the Reds team in the coming summer window will be to focus on the attacking department as the defensive have already been settled with the coming of Virgil Van Dijk and goalkeeper Alisson Becker in the last summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old Uruguayan international has so far netted 30 goals in 73 outings for the Galician club over the past couple
of seasons and this could be his last at the club.
However, he has reacted to the reports, stating that he has read a number of reports which claims he would be moving to the Spanish La Liga side Barcelona as well as Liverpool.
He, therefore, noted that he is not moved by the reports as he noted that he is still a player with Celta Vigo and will hope to help the team.
Meanwhile, it is yet to be seen if manager Jurgen Klopp will consider Maxi Gomez as soon as the summer window is opened.
