Emerging reports claim that Spanish La Liga outfit Real Madrid have gone ahead of West London outfit to secure the signature of German Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt star forward Luka Jovic as an agreement is reportedly reached.
The Blues team have been lacking in cutting edge as their strikers are unable to deliver goals as they should and that has been pointed to as a reason for their poor season.
Luka Jovic was therefore identified as a major target ahead of the coming summer transfer window and the Blues team had the opportunity to see him they clashed the with German side in the Europa League game last week Thursday.
However, the West London outfit seem to have lost out as it is claimed the La Liga team have already agreed to sign him on a few of €60 million as soon as the summer window is opened.
This, therefore, means that the search for the Blues team continue as there is a need for a goal scoring striker in the team.
It is, however, suggested that the decision by Luka Jovic to sign for Real Madrid is influenced by the fact that the Blues team cannot sign and register any new player because of the summer transfer ban which is yet to be lifted.
