Italian World Cup winner Buffon joined PSG at the start of this season following the expiration of his contract at Italian Serie A champions Juventus.
He signed a one-year deal at PSG with the option of another year.
Buffon has already won the French Ligue 1 title with PSG this season and he could still stay on for another season.
