It is reported that West London outfit Chelsea were opened to selling Nigerian international Ola Aina at the end of the season but that has changed.
The Blues team are being humbled by the transfer ban on them as they will not be able to register any new player in the next two transfer window. This is the reason why they will consider the stay of the Suoer Eagles player ahead of the coming season.
Ola Aina spent this current campaign away from the Stanford Bridge with the Italian Serie A outfit Toronto and the club hope to trigger the option of signing him on a permanent deal.
The youngster has impressed so far this season and he is reported not to seek a return back to the West London, knowing that he will not be able to secure a starting role in the manager Maurizio Sarri team.
However, Chelsea are only forced to keep the 22-year-old as they would have had no need for him if they are to engage in the coming summer transfer window.
Meanwhile, Ola Aina has been hailed for his physical and technical quality, in addition to making use of both feet with his strength.
There is no doubt that Ola Aina’s stay will not be guaranteed should the appeal for the ban be considered.
