Merseyside outfit Liverpool have agreed to hand a 1-year improved contract extension to England international Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain at the end of the season.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain joined the Anfield from Arsenal and transformed to become a great player and a starter in the manager Jurgen Klopp team despite the quality already on the ground.
However, his breakthrough at the Merseyside outfit suffered a major setback when he sustained a serious injury in the Champions League last season.
The former Arsenal midfielder has now returned from injury and he is giving a glimpse of what he still carries and the quality he has to offer the team and that is being appreciated by manager Jurgen Klopp who is of the opinion that he deserves to be rewarded with a new deal ahead of the coming season.
