Spanish champions Barcelona will look to star player Lionel Messi for inspiration when they host Premier League high-flyers Liverpool in the first leg of their Champions League semifinal tie at the Nou Camp on Wednesday night.
The Argentine national team skipper has a very good record against English opposition having scored 24 times in 32 appearances including a brace in the quarterfinal second leg meeting with Manchester United.
Messi scored two goals to give Barcelona a 3-0 win over the Red Devils and a 4-0 aggregate win.
According to William Hill, Messi is the clear favourite to score the first goal at the odds of 3.50.
The Barcelona skipper is also the favourite to score at anytime with the odds of 1.70 ahead of teammate Luis Suarez who has odds of 2.05.
Luis Suarez will face his former club for the first time since leaving in 2014 and he would be looking to score just first goal in the Champions League this season.
Both Liverpool forwards Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah have the same odds of scoring at anytime at 2.87 ahead of Liverpool teammate Roberto Firmino who has 3.60 odds of scoring at anytime.
Mane, Salah and Firmino are the famed front trio at Liverpool and they have scored 65 goals amongst themselves in all competitions this term.
