It is reported that West London outfit Chelsea are set to lose one of their main targets and AC Milan star Alessio Romagnoli to Italian Serie A champions Juventus.

The report claims that the West London outfit will not have the player anymore because he would seek a move away should AC Milan fail to secure qualification to the Champions League next season.

AC Milan are currently fifth in the Serie A table with just a few games to the end of the season which means they are set to lose some of their star players who will seek to play in the Champions League next season.

Also, AC Milan have the ire of the UEFA for breaking Financial Fair Play regulations which means they will have to reduce some of their spendings in the summer window. In order to have more signings, there is a need to leave out Alessio Romagnoli at the end of the season.

However, Juventus are expected to win the race for the star player as he is suggested to want a stay in the Italian Serie A rather than move away.

Meanwhile, the West London outfit are still under a 2 transfer window ban and their wish to appeal has not been granted.
