Manchester United are almost certain to lose one for their midfielders in the summer following the news that Ander Herrera has agreed on a free transfer move to French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG).
This is according to the specific report from French media portal RMC Sport.
It was revealed that the Manchester United midfielder has agreed on a four-year deal to join PSG this summer upon the expiration of his current deal at Old Trafford.
PSG are keen to boost their midfield options and they have already identified Ander Herrera as the man for the job.
The 29-year-old would be a direct replacement for PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot who’s expected to leave Parc des Princes when his contract expires this summer.
The French international has already told PSG officials that he won’t sign a new contract and he has been frozen out of the club as a result.
Adrien Rabiot has been linked with several clubs including Spanish champions Barcelona as well as the Premier League trio of Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Chelsea.
His replacement at PSG, Ander Herrera, has been an important player for Manchester United since joining from Spanish La Liga club Athletic Bilbao in 2014.
Bilbao tried to make a late attempt to sign him but it was too late with the player now PSG-bound this summer.
