Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is closing in on a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid after the latest development surrounding his passport.
According to the publication from The Sun, Pogba has consciously refused to sort out his passport problem for the Red Devils’ preseason trip to China later this year thus leading to doubts over his commitment to Manchester United.
Paul Pogba is said to be keen on a transfer to Real Madrid who are on the verge of conducting major changes on their playing squad after a disappointing season.
Real Madrid brought back French football legend Zinedine Zidane as the manager some months after his resignation last summer having led the Los Merengues to three successive Champions League titles.
In addition, the outgoing European champions have signed Brazilian international Eder Militao from Portuguese giants FC Porto and he’s expected to join them this summer.
Pogba could also join the revolution at Real Madrid under Zidane as he has been linked with a move to the Spanish team alongside Chelsea talisman Eden Hazard.
The French World Cup winner has scored 13 goals and also provided nine assists for Manchester United in the Premier League this term.
He was recently named in the PFA Team of the Year.
