Sarri gives the biggest shock in Champions League claim
There are already insinuations that West London outfit Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri does not give a damn about qualification to the Champions League next season after a claim attributed to him.
The Italian boss has always been confirmed with the issue of securing qualification to the Champions League and that seems to be pissing him up as he claimed that there is no big deal about playing in the European biggest competition.
According to Maurizio Sarri, the Champions League is being overrated by journalists as they keep talking about it.
- Bayern told why they must not insist on this Chelsea star
- Klopp speaks on how Porto were defeated
- Arsenal are yet to see the best of Lucas Torreira
He noted that his major aim is playing good football and winning the English Premier League title as well as the Europa League, stressing that the attention must not all be on the Champions League, adding that people give the competition too much importance
However, Maurizio Sarri is still keen to have his team finish in the top-four as he noted that he has his attention on the remaining Premier League games which he claimed would be very difficult.
Meanwhile, the mandate given to the former Napoli boss is to secure qualification to the Champions League ahead of the coming season and that is yet to be done with competition from Arsenal, Tottenham and Man United.
