Merseyside outfit Liverpool have been able to return to the top of the summit in the English Premier League table after defeatism Cardiff City on Sunday by 2-0.

The Liverpool team are title contenders this season as they have been tipped to win the domestic title at the end of the season but it has always looked difficult.

However, with the win over Cardiff, manager Jurgen Klopp revealed that he was able to plot the defeat in the second half while he was in the dressing room during the half time.

He noted that he was very sure of what would happen as he told Henderson to ask Trent to put a low ball in and that was all they needed to secure a win in the game with three games left until the end of the season.

Jurgen Klopp stated that his team had played with a different spirit and a proper diamond formation because his team cannot afford long balls because of their will to win.

Meanwhile, he noted that it is a difficult development for his team after they were able to secure a win against Porto in the Champions League to secure qualification to the semi-finals.
