North London giants Tottenham Hotspur are increasingly confident that star midfielder Christian Eriksen will agree to a new deal at the club to ward off the interest of the big European sides like Real Madrid and Manchester United.
Danish international Eriksen has just a year left on his current deal at Tottenham Hotspur.
Both parties have been in discussion over a new deal but the situation is far from being resolved.
According to the publication from Goal, Eriksen is holding out for more money that will be a significant increment on his £70,000 per week.
Christian Eriksen signed for Spurs from Dutch Eredivisie club and he has grown to become a key player for the North London giants.
He will face his former club in the last four of the Champions League.
