Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford is holding off on signing a new contract at the club with the Red Devils unwilling to meet up with his hefty wage demands.
This is according to the publication from the Daily Mail which revealed that the player has decided to slow down on new contract talks.
The England international wants a whopping £200,000 on a weekly basis which represents a significant on his existing deal at Old Trafford.
Marcus Rashford earns around £75,000 per week at the moment.
The 21-year-old has two years left on his current deal with the Red Devils and he has been severely linked with a move to the major European clubs.
Marcus Rashford has been touted as a possible transfer addition to clubs like Juventus, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Apart from his hefty wage demands, Rashford also wants to be the central striker at Manchester United.
The central striker demand is another condition for him to sign a new deal at the Theatre of Dreams.
Rashford started the season on the wings under Jose Mourinho before the Portuguese tactician was sacked and replaced by former club striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Since Solskjaer took charge of the team, Marcus Rashford has been the central striker at Manchester United.
