Merseyside outfit Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has spoken on how his team were able to see through Porto in the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
The Reds team gained qualification to the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League after defeating Porto by 2-0 in the first leg and another 4-1 in the second leg to set up a clash against Spanish La Liga outfit Barcelona.
Jurgen Klopp has therefore expressed delight that his team were able to secure qualification, noting that his team had dominated in the first leg and were the better team in the second leg.
The German boss explained that Porto needed an early goal in the second game but they were unable to achieve that which made his team press harder as the home side lost their intensity.
However, the Reds team will face Barcelona and Jurgen Kopp has stated that he has got little time to rest before thinking about the game.
He admitted that Argentina international Lionel Messi is a threat in the game as other teams failed to stop him but his team will work towards achieving that by doing a great job behind closed doors.
Meanwhile, Liverpool will be playing in the Champions League for the second consecutive year.
