Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has insinuated that the Chelsea team are a bunch of daydreamers ahead of their Premier League clash later on Sunday.
He made this assertion when faced with the question that his side could lose to the West London outfit just like it happened in 2014 when former manager Brendan Rogers was in charge of the team.
Just like it is happening now, Liverpool were on their way to winning the league and had to play the Blues team. Also, Chelsea stormed the Anfield that year as underdogs as it is now but crashed Liverpool’s party with a shocking victory.
This has been dismissed by the German boss who stated that he never thought about that because it is just a new story and has nothing to do with his team because they are a different team from what Rogers had at that time.
However, Analysts have suggested that the Reds team are a better side than the 2014 team as they have got more defensive steel and control which was not obtainable then.
Meanwhile, the Reds have the opportunity of breaking the deadlock of 29 years Premier League title drought and they look more resolve to win it at the end of the day.
