Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has promised the Gunners faithfuls that the players will improve on their wretched away record.

The Welsh international spoke to reporters via Goal after his man-of-the-match performance against Italian Serie A giants Napoli in their Europa League quarterfinal first leg clash.

Ramsey was amongst the goals as Arsenal secured a 2-0 win over Napoli at home.

The former Cardiff City playmaker scored the opening goal after 15 minutes off an assist from Ainsley Maitland-Niles before the lead was doubled ten minutes later.

Senegalese international star Kalidou Koulibaly deflected Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira’s shot into the back of the net for the second Arsenal goal.

Napoli should have gotten an away goal towards the end of the first half but Italian international Lorenzo Insigne didn’t take his chance.

Insigne then setup midfielder Piotr Zelinski in the second half for another big Napoli change which the Polish international didn’t take.

Napoli will have to overturn the 2-0 deficit to continue their journey in the competition in the second leg next week.

Aaron Ramsey is aware of the need for improvement away from home starting with the Napoli game on Thursday.

Arsenal have won just two games away from home in all competitions since November.
