English Premier League outfit Liverpool have been told that their star target and Borussia Monchengladbach star Thorgan Hazard prefers to join their domestic rivals Borussia Dortmund than a move to the Anfield.
The Merseyside outfit have been linked with the star player and there were suggestions that he would be joining up in the summer window but they are faced with competition from another Bundesliga outfit.
Manager Jurgen Klopp seems to be ready to make some additions in the coming summer transfer window with his attack a major priority after sealing his defence with the signature of Virgil Van Dijk from Southampton.
However, the Reds might now lose out on the signature of Thorgan Hazard as he is reportedly keen to join Dortmund than coming to the Premier League.
The Bundesliga outfit is also reported to have tabled a £36 million offer for the signature of Thorgan Hazard and there are indications that it could be accepted by Borussia Monchengladbach.
However, Thorgan Hazard’s quality is not in doubt as he has been impressive in the German Bundesliga with about 12 goals for his team and 11 assists.
West London outfit Chelsea were also reported to be interested in his signature but they seem to have backed down.
