LA Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic believes that the upcoming Champions League clash between Manchester United and Barcelona is all about Paul Pogba and Lionel Messi.
Manchester and Barcelona will face each other over two legs to determine who will qualify for the semifinals of this year’s Champions League.
Ahead of the first leg in Manchester, Swedish football legend Ibrahimovic spoke to the official website of Barcelona about the game.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is one of the few players to feature for both Manchester United and Barcelona.
According to him, the game is all about Paul Pogba and Lionel Messi and how the two world-class players can influence their respective teams.
Paul Pogba has seen his form pick up in recent weeks with the appointment of former club striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the Manchester United manager.
Solskjaer was initially named the interim manager at Manchester United in December before his appointment was confirmed by the club towards the end of last month.
Pogba has scored 14 goals and provided 10 assists in 39 appearances in all competitions for Manchester United this season with nine of those goals coming under Solskjaer.
On the other hand, Lionel Messi has scored 40 goals for Barcelona in all competitions this term.
