West London outfit Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has been pushing for a move away from the Stamford Bridge as he has not been favoured in the selection of manager Maurizio Sarri.
The France international has not been a major part of the Blues team as a result of his lack of cutting edge which remains an issue for the Italian boss.
This is the reason why the former Napoli boss had brought in Argentina international Gonzalo Higuain on a loan deal so as to help strengthen the attack as Olivier Giroud and former Alvaro Morata could not deliver goals in the first half of the season.
However, latest reports claim that manager Maurizio Sarri has hinted that Olivier Giroud will be staying at the club.
Suggestions are that the club will wait until the transfer ban issues have been sorted out before allowing any of their players leave the club because there might not be an opportunity to have them replaced which will leave their coming season in big stress.
Analysts are of the opinion that Olivier Giroud will stay but on the condition that he would be handed more playing time by the Italian boss in the coming season but that cannot be assured if he fails to prove himself as well.
