How Klopp described Southampton win will make you smile

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp could not hide his feeling after his side saw past Southampton in their Premier League clash on Friday night by 3-1.

It was a shaky start for the Reds team as they conceded an early goal through Shane Long and that puts them in panic but all was later solved with goals from Naby Keita, Mohamed Salah and Jordan Henderson.

What excites manager Jurgen Klopp is how his team were able to win the game from behind as he noted that they have got a big mentality.

He noted that the team are aware of the challenge they would face from Southampton but they were able to give the fight as everyone expected to pick all three points in the game.

However, the former Borussia Dortmund manager hailed Egyptian international Mohamed Salah for scoring his first goal after eight games drought as he stressed that the quality of the player has never been in doubt.

Meanwhile, the win takes Liverpool back to the top of the summit with two points ahead of defending champions Man City but they have played a game more.

The two sides have got to win all of their remaining games until the end of the season to stand the chance of winning the league title.
