West London outfit Chelsea are reported to be interested in the signature of Atletico Paranaense midfielder Bruno Guimaraes ahead of the coming summer transfer window, according to ESPN.
The report claims that the Blues scouts have watched Bruno Guimaraes in the past and are convinced that he is the kind of player that is needed at the club.
However, the West London outfit are not alone in the search for the player as it is claimed that Shakhtar Donetsk chief scout Jose Boto has also gone to watched Bruno Guimaraes and he is satisfied with what he saw.
The West London outfit are currently under a transfer ban and it is expected to last for the next two transfer windows but with an appeal already made, which would be heard on April 11, the Blues stand a chance to have it lifted to have them engage in the coming summer window.
Bruno Guimaraes will, therefore, be a top target for the Blues as they are desperate to land a midfielder who has got the potentials of moving forward, yet with defensive skill.
The West London outfit have been told they will pay the sum of £34 million for Bruno Guimaraes, having rejected bids less than that in the last winter window.
