Roman Abramovich

There have been speculations over time that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is already considering putting up Chelsea for sale which he has severally refuted but pundits have claimed that it could be the best for the club and their fans.

The Russian Billionaire has been running the affairs of the team for the past 16 years with a lot of efforts already made clear on the team since buying the club in 2003 for £140 million.

It has been ups and downs for the club but what is most important is the fact that trophies have been won. Yet, Roman Abramovich seems not to be satisfied with the European success which has led to the sack of a number of coaches.

However, there are feelers that Roman Abramovich is already getting tired and might be withdrawing gradually from the affairs of the team.

This has, therefore, made pundit speculate that putting the club up for sale would be a good development for the club because a new era could be a way forward.

It is claimed that a new owner could bring more energy and funds to the team which will add to the fresh push and ambition that could lead to a way forward for the team.
