Arsenal manager Unai Emery has revealed that the target is for the Gunners to secure consistent away results in the Premier League.

He talked about the need for his team to improve their away form in the Premier League during his post-match reaction after Arsenal beat Newcastle United at home.

Arsenal defeated the Magpies 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium to boost their top-four hopes in the Premier League.

A Premier League top-four spot will guarantee the Gunners Champions League football for next season.

After the Newcastle United win, Unai Emery told reporters that Arsenal need to improve their away form to have a chance of maintaining their place in the top four of the Premier League.

Arsenal had dropped to the fifth position at the end of the weekend’s games but they were able to secure the win needed to end Matchweek 32 set of games in the top four.

Aaron Ramsey and Alexandre Lacazette got the goals for the Gunners either side of the halftime interval as they recorded the 10th win at home in the Premier League.

The victory over Newcastle United takes Arsenal to the third spot with 63 points ahead of third-placed Tottenham Hotspur (61 points), fourth-placed Manchester United (61 points) and sixth-placed Chelsea (60 points).
