West London outfit Chelsea were able to see past Cardiff City in a controversial game which has resulted in media talks but what is most important is that they have been able to secure all three points to continue their press for a top-four finish.
England international Ross Barkley has, therefore, challenged his players to do all it takes to ensure they meet up with their season target to qualify to the Champions League next season with a top-four finish.
According to him, the team now have a new target before the end of the season and that will be to go on a winning streak to stand a better chance of a top-four finish.
According to him, they had 10-day break since their last game but were unable to deliver great performance despite the rest by some of the players who were not involved in international duty.
However, the West London fans were unhappy with the performance of the team on the Cardiff game as they sang chants of the sack of the club’s manager Maurizio Sarri.
