Man United Join City Rivals In Saul Race

Three-time European champions Manchester United have joined the race to sign Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez according to widespread reports in the media.
It was revealed that the Red Devils have joined city rivals Manchester City in the race to sign the highly rated Spanish international player.
The interest of Manchester City in Saul Niguez became public in March and the Citizens might need to fight off Manchester United in their bid to sign their transfer target though his Atletico Madrid teammate Rodri is said to be the alternative target for the Premier League champions.
According to ESPN, Manchester United will try to beat Manchester City to the signing of Saul Niguez who’s seen by Red Devils manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the direct replacement for wantaway midfielder Ander Herrera.
Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera is considering a three-year contract from French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) at the moment with his current contract scheduled to expire at the end of this season.
The Red Devils will have to sign a replacement for Ander Herrera if the 29-year-old decides to accept the offer from PSG and they have already identified his compatriot Saul Niguez as a possible replacement for the former Athletic Bilbao player.
