Merseyside outfit Liverpool are reported to be having a major advantage ahead of their Champions League quarterfinals clash against Porto if latest report is anything to go by.
It is reported that the Reds opponents have got a penalty taker Alex Telles, but he would not be available for the game as he is out on injury.
It is claimed that should the quarterfinals game run into the penalty kick, the Porto side will be at a disadvantage as they will be short of quality in that aspect.
However, Alex Telles is a major part of the Porto team as he has been impressive so far this season. It was hoped that he would be a threat to the manager Jurgen Klopp team but that did not happen as he is already injured.
Meanwhile, this is a major boost to the Reds team as they hope to secure a win to scale through to the semi-finals for the second consecutive time in the competition.
It would be recalled that the Merseyside outfit played in the finals of the UEFA Champions League last year but they failed to lift the trophy as they were defeated by Real Madrid to finish second.
