Mauro Icardi

Two English Premier League outfits Chelsea and Man United have been handed a major hope in their pursuit of Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi ahead of the coming summer transfer window.

The two sides were keen on his signature but there were no green lights on the issue until the Serie A manager Luciano Spalletio made some comments which hints that all may not be well with the player and he might not remain at the club.

Mauro Icardi has not enjoyed this season so far because it has been a difficult one for him. He has recently fallen out of favour with the first team squad which signals the fact that he might not be needed anymore.

The manager stated that Mauro Icardi has not been able to help his teammates over the past week which is the reason why he was not called for selection and there are no chances he would be given a chance until the situation improves.

There is no doubt that the star player will be an addition to either of the two Premier League sides because of his quality.

He could also end up at the West London outfit where he would be expected to sharpen the weak attack.
