Much of the praise for Brazilian international stopper Alisson Becker has been sung by pundits and former players and now it is the turn for former Tottenham keeper, Heurelho Gomez who is currently on the books at Watford.

According to him, the former AS Roma star who was bought for a fee of about £65 million is a better pick than his English Premier League rival Manchester City rival Ederson.

The Brazilian stated that the Reds stopper is a more complete player than the others as he has justified the amount spent on him to come to the Anfield.

It would be recalled that the manager Pep Guardiola invested £35 million ($46m) in Ederson back in the summer of 2017, before Liverpool broke the record by securing Alisson Becker and making him the most expensive keeper of all time.

The Tottenham legend, therefore, admitted that they are both great goalkeepers who have made names for themselves.

Despite the feat by Man City goalkeeper, Gomez stated the Liverpool stopper is more of a complete player.

Meanwhile, Alisson has helped the club with a number of clean sheets so far this season to make his presence felt.

He is tipped to help the Reds team with a title win.
