Premier League giants Manchester United have been dealt a big injury problem following the news that one of their influential players might miss the upcoming league game against Wolves.
Anthony Martial was at his best for Manchester United as he helped his side secure a valuable win over Watford in their quest for a top-four finish at the end of this season.
Martial added to the first half goal from Marcus Rashford in the second half before Abdoulaye Doucoure halved the deficit on the stroke of full-time for a 2-1 home win for Manchester United.
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told MUTV that Anthony Martial picked up a knock against the Hornets and he’s an early doubt for the next Premier League clash.
Solskjaer and Manchester United travel to the Midlands to face the impressive Wolverhampton Wanderers outfit.
Anthony Martial has struggled with various injuries in recent weeks and he only returned from a muscular injury in the last league game before the international break.
He made his return from that injury as a substitute in the 2-0 loss to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
The French international would be hoping to shake off that injury in time for Tuesday’s game against Wolves at the Molineux.
The Red Devils’ last defeat didn’t end well as they were knocked out of the FA Cup quarterfinals via a 2-0 loss.
