Two former Manchester United players will reunite in the MLS (Major League Soccer) for a Matchweek 4 clash scheduled to take place on Sunday.
Ex-Red Devils stars Wayne Rooney and Luis Nani were teammates at Old Trafford for almost one decade and they will meet again in the MLS on Sunday.
Former England national team captain Rooney plays his club football for D.C. United at the moment while 2016 European champion Nani features for Orlando City.
Nani was part of the Portugal side that stunned the continent by winning the 2016 European Championship via a 1-0 win over hosts Portugal at the end of extra time.
The Portuguese international player joined MLS club Orlando City earlier this year after leaving Portugal where he was playing for Sporting Lisbon.
His Orlando City side will host Rooney and in-form D.C. United on Sunday and Nani has already tweeted about his impending meeting with his friend and former teammate.
Wayne Rooney and Luis Nani played together at Manchester United for seven years.
Rooney has had a positive impact on D.C. United since he joined them from Premier League club, Everton, last year.
The former Three Lions of England striker has played a major role for his club in their run to the top of the table in the Eastern Conference of the MLS.
