Turkish giants Besiktas have registered their interest in Arsenal midfielder Mohamed ElNeny according to reports coming out of the media in Turkey.
The specific report from Fotosport claimed that Besiktas have already made an enquiry about the Arsenal outcast.
Mohamed ElNeny has not enjoyed the best of times at Arsenal since Unai Emery was appointed the Gunners boss last summer.
The Spaniard signed a three-year contract as a replacement for legendary Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.
Mohamed ElNeny is further down the midfield pecking order at Arsenal following last summer’s acquisition of young midfielders Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi.
Both Torreira and Guendouzi have impressed at Arsenal since they signed for the North Londoners at the start of the season.
Arsenal signed Uruguay international Torreira from Italian Serie A club Sampdoria in a deal reported to be around £26m while French junior international Guendouzi signed for the Gunners after they paid just £7m to sign him from a second-tier club in France.
The North Londoners signed Matteo Guendouzi from Lorient.
The two players are ahead of Mohamed ElNeny in the midfield pecking order and that explains why the Egyptian international has played just four Premier League games for Arsenal this term.
Leicester City also have an interest in ElNeny if he decides to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer.
