Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville is certain that the Red Devils have to back Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with new players if they want him to bring success to the club.
Gary Neville talked about the matter of Solskjaer as the new permanent manager at Manchester United via his official Twitter handle.
The Manchester United legend was delighted that his former teammate has been elevated from interim manager to the permanent manager but he was quick to point out that senior Red Devils officials will have to upgrade the club for Solskjaer to bring success to the club.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was made the interim manager at Old Trafford in December shortly after the dismissal of Jose Mourinho.
Former Chelsea and Real Madrid manager Mourinho was sacked as the Manchester United after a disastrous start to the season.
Manchester United were a long way from the Champions League places at that point but Solskjaer has been able to revitalise their quest to play in Europe’s premier competition next season.
Solskjaer and the Red Devils have won ten, drawn two and lost just one in the last 13 games in the Premier League since the former took charge of his former club three months ago.
