Chelsea fans will now have something to refer to when it comes to the gist about Jorginho as he struggled for his Italy national team in their 2-0 win against Finland.
The former Napoli star has been in the black book of the Chelsea supporters over what is perceived as poor performance, especially in the games that were lost in the season.
A number of pundits and former players have asked Maurizio Sarri to sack the Italian from the starting XI or make room for another role for him but he has been reluctant as the former Napoli boss stated that Jorginho is best for the deep role in the team.
Because of the presence of Jorginho, Maurizio Sarri pushed away France powerhouse N’Golo Kante from his natural role and have him play a more advanced role. This has not gone well with the club supporters and that has been one of the issues with the manager.
However, Jorginho could not prove Chelsea fans wrong at the national side as he struggled throughout his stay on the pitch.
Suggestions are that the former Napoli player would be the scapegoat in the Chelsea team and might be shown the way out when it is time to make some squad adjustments.
