Why sarri-ball difficulty is no problem, Mateo Kovacic

Chelsea player Mateo Kovacic is of the opinion that there is no need to worry about the Sarri-ball system of play introduced by manager Maurizio Sarri at the Stamford Bridge, despite the fact that it is not working.

The Italian boss joined the West London outfit in the last summer transfer window from Italian Serie A outfit Napoli and introduced a style of play which was tagged Sarri-ball. It proved to be working at his start of his management at the club, but that cannot be said of him now because he is struggling to win games.

A number of pundits have blamed the inability of the team to win games to the Italian manager’s style which is not working for the team.

But Mateo Kovacic, who is on loan from Real Madrid, has stated that there is no need to worry because his team will definitely end the season on a good note either with a good pattern or not.

According to him, the players have now realized that they still stand a chance of winning a trophy this season and qualify to the Champions League with a top-four finish.

He, therefore, stressed that he is positive that the mission of the team this season would be achieved at the end of the day.
