There are fears that Chelsea could part ways with manage Maurizio Sarri during this international window, if emerging reports are anything to go by and that that means a replacement has to be on the sideline.

The Italian boss has been under pressure to deliver following some defeats he suffered against Premier League rivals and all of the bad results were compounded by the 2-0 defeat against Everton in the last weekend.

It is reported that the club owner Roman Abramovich is unhappy with the former Napoli boss and will soon announce his sack after due consultations have been made.

However, former player Frank Lampard and Nuno Esparto Santo have been named as possible replacements for the embattled manager, according to reports.

Lampard is a Chelsea legend and there could be a need to follow the footstep of Man United in picking a former player to add to the good job he is doing at the Champions League outfit Derby County.

Nuno Esparto Santo has also been doing a good job Wolves who are now seventh in the Premier League table and the semi-finals of the FA Cup.

Meanwhile, Nuno Esparto Santo has been tipped as the favourites because of some club chiefs while he has got an experience of the top flight.
