French international Olivier Giroud is reported to be considering a move away from the West London outfit to the French Ligue 1 as he can no longer guarantee a starting role at the club ahead of the coming season.

Initially, the former Arsenal striker was hailed by manager Maurizio Sarri despite his lack of goals but from all indications, he is now getting tired of that and demands goals, knowing that he has got his job on the line.

However, Olivier Giroud’s contract at the West London outfit runs out later in June and there are no indications he would be handed a new deal which means he will be considering the offers available for him.

Olivier Giroud has described the situation of sitting on the bench as frustrating, noting that he has not been playing regularly since January aside the Europa League, a development he can no longer bear.

The former Arsenal striker, therefore, made it clear that he does not have a choice for his next destination, he is opened to any club that will be willing to hand him playing time.

However, suggestions are that the West London outfit will not keep the French man anymore at the Stamford Bridge, not minding the transfer ban.
