Manchester United fans have been thrown into a state of worry after star player Paul Pogba revealed that it would be a dream to play for Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid.
Pogba made the admission during a news conference with the French national team on Wednesday as he pointed out that it will be a dream to play for French football legend Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid.
Zidane was recently reappointed as the Real Madrid manager following the dismissal of Santiago Solari.
Solari was sacked after he masterminded the Los Merengues’ exit from three competitions.
Zidane is the third manager at Real Madrid this season after Julen Lopetegui and the aforementioned Solari.
Paul Pogba wanted to leave Manchester United during the latter days of the Jose Mourinho era before the Portuguese tactician was sacked in December.
Pogba was linked with a move to clubs like Juventus, Barcelona and Paris Saint Germain (PSG) following his feud with Mourinho.
The 25-year-old has been able to revive his ailing Manchester United career under the aforementioned Mourinho with the advent of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Former Red Devils striker Solskjaer was named the interim Manchester United manager shortly after Mourinho was sacked and he has been able to help Pogba fulfil his potentials at the club.
