Merseyside outfit Liverpool were lucky to have secured all three points against Fulham in their Sunday Premier League clash and that has to be talked about by the club manager Jurgen Klopp.
Netherlands international central defender Virgil Van Dijk had committed a blunder in the game to have headed the ball behind to Alisson Becker but he was unable to get it through as he was punished to concede a goal.
In his reaction to the 2-1 win, manager Jurgen Klopp described it as an average game which ended up with a sensational result to make their victory sweet.
However, the German manager stated that football can be slow at times and not go in the direction it was planned, noting that he did not see any panic as regards the game because his team had reacted to the game positively.
The former Borussia Dortmund man stated that the players have longed been in this situation of having to retain the top spot which means they will no longer be under any pressure as anticipated.
Howbeit, Jurgen Klopp has not won any title since he took over as Liverpool boss, the past three years and has got an opportunity to break the deadlock at the end of the season.
