There are suggestions that the critics Chelsea star Jorginho might have been proved wrong as he has been called up by the Italian senior national team for a game ahead of the coming international break.

Despite being criticized, the Italian midfielder is one out of the four non-Serie-a-based players that were invited for the national team assignment.

Italy have been scheduled to play European qualifiers against Finland and Liechtenstein with the team banking on the likes of Jorginho to deliver an easy win for the club.

This is a glaring contrast to the rating of the player at the West London outfit as he has been criticized for some of the humiliating defeat the club suffered especially in the 6-0 humiliation against Man City.

However, Jorginho’s issue with some of the fans started as soon as he arrived at the club in the last summer window alongside manager Maurizio Sarri from Italian Serie A outfit Napoli

The manager had established a relationship with Jorginho at Napoli and that was why he stocked to the player at the heart of the Blues midfield, pushing one of the club’s favourites N’Golo Kante away to a more advanced role.

Manager Maurizio Sarri has always defended the star player and this could just be one of the proofs he has always wanted.
