Chelsea legend Didier Drogba believes that former Blues’ teammate Romelu Lukaku can still improve on his excellent form.
In his recent interview monitored by popular media outlet Goal, The former Chelsea striker further pointed out that it’s scary that the aforementioned Lukaku still has enough room for improvement.
He praised him for his recent form for Manchester United in both the Premier League and the Champions League.
Romelu Lukaku was a young striker at Chelsea when ex-Ivorian international skipper Drogba was the main man at the club.
The 25-year-old left Chelsea for several loan spells at English clubs like West Brom and Everton before his move to Goodison Park was made permanent.
Lukaku left Everton for Manchester United at the start of last season in a deal worth £75m.
Before his transfer to Manchester United, the Belgian international star has already established himself as one of the top strikers in the Premier League.
Romelu Lukaku emerged as the Red Devils’ topscorer in his debut season at the club.
However, he has had a mixed second season at Old Trafford following his struggles under Jose Mourinho before he was sacked in December.
Lukaku has seen his form soar since former club striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was named the Manchester United manager.
He has scored six goals in his last four games in all competitions.
