Mateo Kovacic

Chelsea have got an exemption in their current transfer ban with Real Madrid player Mateo Kovacic due to the fact that he has been at the Stamford Bridge on loan.

Mateo Kovacic has a loan contract with the West London outfit running until the end of the season which makes it compulsory for him to return to the Spanish capital or sign a permanent deal with the Blues.

However, there is no doubt that Mateo Kovacic will no longer be accommodated at the Bernabeu because he is not in the plans of the new manager Zinedine Zidane which makes it an option for Chelsea.

More so, the Blues might be left with no choice than to retain Mateo Kovacic so as to be able to have enough legs at the club. Although, he has not been in the best of form the club can have faith in him.

Meanwhile, Zinedine Zidane has already hinted that he would seek to make about £100 million from all of their players currently on loan as he hopes to add more strength to the team.

Chelsea star Eden Hazard is a major target for the Los Blancos new boss and there are indications that they will come for him at the end of the season.
