After leading his side to secure a 3-1 win over Bayern Munich, Liverpool boss has been called upon by the club’s former president and German legend Franz Beckenbauer to come to take over at the club.

Following their goalless draw in Anfield, Liverpool secured a quarterfinals qualification in Germany on Bayern Munich home ground, a feat that has drawn the attention of the club.

It would be recalled that the German international once had a spell at the German Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund before answering to the call from the English League about three years ago.

However, Franz Beckenbauer, who has won two German Bundesliga titles, said Jurgen Klopp would be an ideal addition to the club because of the feats he has achieved at the Merseyside outfit.

It is therefore unsure what the response of the former Borussia Dortmund boss would be as he is keen to win a title to his name to be his first since he joined the Anfield in 2015.

Jurgen Klopp came close to the title last season with a second place finish in both the Premier League and the Champions League but failed to clinch it.

This season, he stands a chance as they are already in the quarterfinals of the Champions League as well as second in the Premier League table with a point behind Man City.
