Paris Saint Germain (PSG) forward Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting has revealed that they are struggling to get over the Champions League defeat at the hands of Premier League giants Manchester United.
Choupo-Moting and PSG blew a 2-0 lead from the first leg against the Red Devils in their Champions League last 16 tie.
The Cameroonian international spoke to reporters about the defeat shortly after he scored for PSG in their 4-0 win over lowly Dijon in a French Ligue 1 clash played on Tuesday night.
The former Stoke City player was on target as his team opened a 17-point gap at the top of the table with the thumping victory over Dijon.
Angel Di Maria, Kylian Mbappe and Marquinhos were also on the scoresheet for the French champions.
According to Choupo-Moting, PSG have not recovered from the bad defeat to Manchester United in their Champions League clash last week.
PSG produced one of the biggest meltdowns in recent Champions League history after they blew a 2-0 lead from the first leg.
The French capital club had beaten Manchester United 2-0 in their first leg meeting at Old Trafford in February before losing 3-1 in the second leg at home.
Manchester United were able to seal a quarterfinal spot via the away goals rule.
