West London outfit Chelsea failed to take their chances of getting into the top four after they recorded a 1-1 draw against Wolves on Sunday.
The Blues side had lost to the same team in the first leg, earlier this season, yet they could not command a win as they now lack behind in their bid to qualify for the Champions League after missing out this year.
Sarri-ball, introduced by the Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has been blamed for the reason why the team has not won a number of games. It has been criticized for being ineffective and unworkable in the English Premier League.
Alan Shearer is the latest to expose one of the flaws of Sarri-ball after West London failed to win again on Sunday. He stated that the Blues have a very slow pace of play and that has always hunted them.
The former England international and Newcastle legend noted that the Blues team were seen at most times running slowly and reluctant in moving forward. He stressed that instead of passing the ball forward, the ball was mostly played sideways which limited their strength in going forward.
However, the Chelsea boss has refused to agree with the claim that Wolves are a good side but stated that they did not come to play football because they defended throughout the game.
