Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has reacted to the win by his team against Burnley on Sunday as they move back into the race with one point behind league leaders Man City.

The Reds have now returned to winning ways as they struggled in the past weeks with a number of draws especially the last against Everton in the Merseyside derby.

In his reaction, the German boss stated that the game was difficult for his team despite celebrating the win as a good one.

The former Borussia Dortmund boss stated that his team had conceded an early goal which was enough to destabilize his team but that did not happen. He was glad the goal came early and there was enough time for his team to recover and get back into the game.

Klopp, therefore, hailed his players for giving such a superb performance against Burnley as he hopes they are able to remain consistent in the tempo and spirit as the race for the league title continues.

A title win for Liverpool this season will be the first for the club in 29 years as they last won it in 1990.

However, Liverpool will turn attention to the Champions League where they will face Bayern Munich in the week.
