Man Utd Target AC Milan Defender As Valencia’s Replacement

Three-time European champions Manchester United have identified AC Milan defender Davide Calabria as the long-term replacement for Antonio Valencia.
Manchester United skipper Valencia is expected to leave the club this summer and the Red Devils have already started to make plans as regards his direct replacement.
Goal revealed that Manchester United want to sign Italian right-back Calabria who has impressed a great deal for AC Milan this season.
Davide Calabria is also attracting the interest of fellow Premier League club, Everton.
The 22-year-old has scored one goal and provided one assist in 21 league games for an AC Milan side that’s closing on a return to the Champions League via a third-place finish on the Italian Serie A table.
In total, Davide Calabria has made 27 appearances for AC Milan in all competitions.
The Italian could replace Antonio Valencia at Old Trafford.
Ecuadorian international Antonio Valencia has few months left on his current deal at the club.
Manchester United manager Solskjaer confirmed in one of his recent press conferences that the club’s skipper will most likely leave the club when the transfer window reopens in summer.
He has been linked with several Premier League clubs including Newcastle United and East London outfit West Ham United.
