Taiwo Awoniyi

It is suggested that English Premier League side Liverpool will have to battle for the future of Nigerian international Taiwo Awoniyi who is currently away from the club on loan at Belgian side Mouscron.

The youngster has been in hot form for the Belgian outfit where he had helped his side with six wins and a draw with his six goals in seven games.

He is no doubt one of the hottest Liverpool player currently on loan which makes manager Jurgen Klopp ponder on having him return back to the Anfield to continue his progress.

However, the Merseyside outfit are now battling to keep Taiwo Awoniyi as they are reported to be receiving approaches for the young lad with Schalke being the latest club to make a move for him ahead of the coming summer transfer window.

It is claimed that the only issue with Taiwo Awoniyi’s return to the Anfield is the world permit which he is yet to get and that could be affected by the impending withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union.

However, the Reds’ boss is believed to have a big interest in him and will rather seek for another loan move until he would be ready to join the club permanently.
